The planter is hand crafted and assembled from harvested wood and charred multiple times in accordance with the Japanese wood burning technique of Shou Sugi Ban. The tin vase inserts are made by craftsmen from South Cebu, a proud community of TinSmiths who have occupied the same workshops alongside Tabo-An marketplace for generations.
